Bad Reichenhall, Germany
Congress Center - Königliches Kurhaus
Not least due to the unique beauty of its architecture and exterior facade, the Königliches Kurhaus has long been the calling card of Bad Reichenhall, this iconic congress and spa destination in the heart of the Bavarian Alps. After painstaking restoration work, the Königliches Kurhaus once again radiates the magnificence of former days.
You can find concerts and special events taking place at the Kurhaus, in the city and the surrounding region in the events calendar.
Royal Kurgarten - right outside the front door
In these hectic times of ours, many people search for a place to find peace and quiet.
The Royal Kurgarten in the heart of Bad Reichenhall is such a place. A rejuvenating garden. Where the senses are calmed. Where you feel utterly secluded and completely at ease. The Kurgarten is also the site of the famous Gradierhaus, where you can inhale deeply and feel the healthful, salty vapors flood your body. Just outside your own front door!
The Kehlsteinhaus - Eagle's Nest
A historic lookout point high above Berchtesgaden:
From the Kehlsteinhaus, visitors are treated to an overwhelming panorama extending as much as 200 kilometers into the far distance. Since 1960, the Kehlsteinhaus has been operated by the Berchtesgaden-Königssee Tourism Region, whilst the Kehlsteinhaus mountain inn is run by private leaseholders. The engineering of the road which leads from the Obersalzberg to the Kehlstein car park is unique worldwide. The departure point for buses is next to the Dokumentation Obersalzberg exhibition and only a 30-minute car drive from our hotel. Or if you prefer, why not take the hiking path from the Ofnerboden to the Kehlsteinhaus.
