Since 1960, the Kehlsteinhaus has been operated by the Berchtesgaden-Königssee Tourism Region, whilst the Kehlsteinhaus mountain inn is run by private leaseholders. The engineering of the road which leads from the Obersalzberg to the Kehlstein car park is unique worldwide. The departure point for buses is next to the Dokumentation Obersalzberg exhibition and only a 30-minute car drive from our hotel. Or if you prefer, why not take the hiking path from the Ofnerboden to the Kehlsteinhaus.
